I Sartorius crateri (1800 m a.s.l.), apparati eruttivi risalenti a una colata del 1865, difficoltà 2, durata 1.5h;
Camminata nella foresta incrociando l’eruzione del 2002 (1000 m a.s.l.), difficoltà 2, durata 2h.

We will walk along a lava landscape choosing between:

2002 eruption at Piano Provenzana (2000 m a.s.l.), level of difficulty 4, duration 2h;
The Sartorius craters (1800 m a.s.l.), a group of botton-like craters dated 1865, level of difficulty 2, duration 1.5h;
Forest walking crossing the 2002 lava front (1000 m a.s.l.), level of difficulty 2, duration 2h.

All paths are combined with an experience at a winery combining excellent wines with excellent food.

loving northern and southern etna

Southern Path

Percorso molto semplice lungo i bellissimi Crateri Silvestri, che si sono formati nel 1892 e mostrano tutti i colori del paesaggio lunare del vulcano. Da qui è possibile salire quota 2500m con la funivia dell’Etna o ancora con jeep a quote ancora più alte. Questo tour si conclude con un’esperienza enogastronomica locale in ristorante o cantina

Very easy walking along the Silvestri craters (2000 m a.s.l.), a group of craters dated 1892, all colors of the volcano and the eruption. Duration of the walking 30/45 minutes. From this location it is also possible to reach 2500 m by using a cable car, or even higher by jeep. This tour is combined with a wine&food experience at a winery or restaurant

loving eastern and western etna

Western Path

Questo semplice percorso si articola per 13 km e dura circa 4 h. E’ ricco di numerose sorprese come l’incontro con una foresta di querce e antiche ginestre, un meraviglioso campo di fiori fino a giungere in un vecchio granaio. La nostra esperienza food sarà con l’ “oro verde” dell’Etna, ovvero il pistacchio. Pranzo in ristorante tipico del paesino di Maniace e visita in una famosa panetteria

This long but easy walking, duration 4h, lenght 13 km, is along a beautiful forest of ancient brooms and holm oaks and much more. We will also stop at a pine-shaped barn, and cross a flower meadow. After the walking we can have our food experience at a pistachio yard, since pistachio is the “green gold” of Etna (for 10+ people group) or at a very typical family restaurant in Maniace, where we will also visit a famous bakery.

Eastern Path

Questo percorso si articola lungo le foreste di querce e l’area lavica dell’eruzione del 1951. L’esperienza varia da 45 minuti a 2,5 ore in base al livello di difficoltà che i viaggiatori desiderano sperimentare. Alla fine del percorso la meravigliosa vista della Valle del Bove. L’esperienza di questa versante si conclude con la visita in una cantina dell’Etna

This walking crosses the forest hosting a century-hold oaks and the 1951 lava front. The walking may last 45 minutes to 2.5h according to the level of difficulty you want to experience. At the end of the path a marvellous view is over the Bove valley. After the walking we will visit a winery on the east side of the mountain and experience excellent wines with excellent food
